Writing Bomberg: Poetry & Voice

Borough Road Gallery, London South Bank University — November 2013

In collaboration with Karlien van den Beukel (London South Bank University) and Rachel Fleming-Mulford (Borough Road Gallery), I facilitated Writing Bomberg: Poetry & Voice, a two-part workshop and public showcase responding to the exhibition David Bomberg: Objects of Collection. The project brought together 10–12 young poets to explore Bomberg’s paintings and drawings through ekphrastic poetry. Participants developed new work in writing workshops and presented their pieces in a spoken word performance alongside Richard Price and Robert Vas Dias, as part of the gallery’s public programme.
