Free Online Workshop:
Creative Practice
Wednesday 15th January 7.30pm
As a former Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Kent, I have over a decade of experience in academic supervising for BA, MA, and PHD students and have helped hundreds of writers and scholars achieve their dream of being published. Find out more about me here.
I'm offering a free workshop on creative practice, where participants will be able to share project ideas, plans, and reflect on former creative endeavours. The aim of the workshop is to consider ways you can embrace and hone your future creative plans with intention, consciously knowing what you are producing as you lean into new ideas / projects.

I will lead the conversation and offer feedback collectively. This will be a safe space, so it’s absolutely fine to come along without any plans, or if you are feeling stuck and want to regain momentum or just want to take part in a creative discussion.
If you'd like to:

-
Question how your work might manifest in new and unexpected ways
-
Gain insight into your processes, biases, strengths and weaknesses
-
Consider alternative organising principles/ methodologies for your work
-
Engage in a dialogue with your past - observe and examine your patterns to make you more informed as a creative practitioner
-
Reflect on ambitions, questions, quandaries
-
Think about the broader literary landscape of your project and consider / acknowledge influences
-
Step into the role of being knowledgeable, self-aware, empowered creator.
